My Story

MajorMood_Eclipsed__NSP9239.jpg

Pathways, Pivots, & Purpose.

Grounded in intention, driven by instinct, and shaped by lived experience, my work invites audiences to remember who they are by forging connections with brands, communities, and cultural movements that mirror their inner truth.

Whether I’m leading a production, crafting a narrative, or architecting a launch, I bring sharp strategy, refined execution, and a creative pulse that transforms vision into lasting impact.

A good friend once told me to trust my taste — and I’ve been creating from a palette rooted in truth and intuition ever since.

🛤️ Dual Roots: Artist & Advocate

I didn’t take the traditional route into the entertainment world — I carved one that wove two lives into one mission. While sharpening my skills as a hip-hop and grime MC, I was also serving as a social worker for incarcerated youth and adults in New York City.

I earned a Master’s Degree in Applied Social Research and worked for nearly a decade in Criminal Justice social work. 5 of those years were spent inside juvenile detention centers, most notably as Director of Creative Arts Programming at Crossroads in Brooklyn. There, I built pathways for youth to tell their own stories — not as case files, but as creators. At the same time, I was telling mine through music, navigating the underground circuits of NYC and London, curating shows, writing albums, and building real roots overseas.

That duality became the foundation of everything I am. Art gave me the language. Social work gave me the lens. Together, they made storytelling my way of not only seeing the world, but changing it.

🎤 Building the Movement: 2012–2021

My music career began in 2012 with the release of my first hip-hop album — and from that moment on, I became the engine behind my own movement. No major label. No big machine. Just craft, conviction, and a mission I refused to compromise.

From 2015 to 2021, I performed, produced, managed, and curated independently, expanding my sound to an international palette after discovering the grime genre. I co-founded the music collective EARTHTONE, launched the record label Sedimentary Sound, and founded ON THE LOW — a monthly event series spotlighting grime, hip-hop, and global underground sounds across international markets.

I earned radio features and live sessions on London’s Kiss FM, Rinse, Flex, and Reprezent, performed at Outlook Festival in Croatia, and flew UK artists to New York to bridge two cultures through sound.  During the rollout of my debut album MAJORMOVES, I relocated to London, joined a youth-focused boxing gym fighting knife crime, and immersed myself in the city’s raw creative ecosystem. That experience — both personally and artistically — planted the seeds for what came next.

MAJORMOVES wasn’t just an album. It became a blueprint — one that evolved into MAJORMOVES NYC, the creative agency I built upon returning to New York. What started as a record became a full-scale mission: to help others move with purpose, strategy, and intention.

After returning to New York from London in 2021, I knew I needed a new container for everything I’d built — one that could hold both the strategy I had mastered behind the scenes and the soul I never stopped leading with.  I took everything I had learned as an artist, organizer, strategist, and social worker, and turned it into a blueprint for others. That blueprint became MAJORMOVES NYC, a creative development agency that merged my entertainment experience with my social work values and built on the philosophy that minor adjustments leads to major moves. This was the chapter where I evolved from artist to architect.

At MMNYC, I offered brand strategy, operations consulting, marketing campaign development, event production, digital branding, and partnership strategy with a human-first approach. MAJORMOVES NYC wasn't just a business. It was a container for transformation — a place where strategy met spirit, and ideas were given structure.

My clients ranged from independent artists to emerging brands, and media platforms. I helped them clarify their missions, scale their systems, and develop messaging that moved people. The agency’s philosophy, “Minor Adjustments, Major Moves” — became a framework for transformation: grounded in belief, executed with precision.

🎬 Media as a Mirror: MAJORMOOD 2023 – Present

MAJORMOOD Media was born on the ground, quite literally, during my time producing an experiential event at SXSW 2023. Contracted by Northstar to lead a multi-day activation, I curated the full experience and interviewed artists live for the first time. That weekend changed everything. It wasn’t just about throwing a successful event — it was about realizing that I could shape the story around it.

What started as an on-the-ground production turned into a multimedia platform — blending editorial voice, cultural commentary, and creative intimacy. MAJORMOOD is where media meets meaning. It’s not just a brand — it’s a lens.

A lens that now includes:

  • 📝 MAJORMOOD Mondays: A weekly newsletter series blending music, mindset, and transformative storytelling

  • 🌒 MAJORMOOD Eclipsed: A talk show exploring identity, artistry, and creative evolution

  • 🏀 MAJORMOOD Street: Raw festival and event coverage capturing the spirit of street culture and sound

MAJORMOOD is where I reflect, document, and expand — building bridges between the internal and external, the seen and the felt. It’s where my past lives meet my future vision. And it all started with one question: What would it look like if the camera didn’t just document the moment — but deepened it?

MAJORMOOD is more than a media platform. It’s a creative ecosystem rooted in transformational storytelling — where reflection becomes narrative, and narrative becomes movement. At its core, MAJORMOOD is redefining the boundaries of creative storytelling.

🎁 The Present is a Gift: Where I Am Now

Today, I’m seeking full-time opportunities that align with what I’ve spent a lifetime cultivating: truth-telling, brand-building, and cultural innovation.

I Bring:

  • Over a decade of cross-functional experience in music, media, and storytelling

  • A strategist’s brain with a community builder’s heart

  • Proven leadership in campaign development, partnership strategy, & multimedia production

  • The ability to move fluidly between high-level vision and hands-on execution

  • A deep respect for craft, culture, and the impact of meaningful communication

I’m not here to follow trends — I’m here to bring fresh perspective that intuitively moves people.
To create work that resonates deeply.
To lead with vision, intention, and clarity.
To make moves that matter, and use storytelling as a catalyst for evolution.
